| FAMILYLIGHT.ORG Being a Christian effects every part of life. Through this website I hope to do my part in "Shining the Light of God's Word on Every Aspect of Life." As I gain proficiency working with this website I hope include multiple pages that will show the heart and passion of my life and ministry. Some areas will be for fun and of more general interest. Other parts will be more serious and hopefully prove to be resources that others will find useful. Mission Statement: The main purpose of this website is to shine the light of God's Word, the Holy Bible, on every aspect of life. ************************************************************************************************ ________________________________________________________________ This website is maintained and paid for by me, Pastor Randall Klynsma. The domain and web-hosting from Yahoo costs $12.00 a month. If you are benefiting from the content of this website, your support would be appreciated. NEW!!! READING THE BIBLE BOOK BY BOOK This Bible reading plan is called, “Reading the Bible Book by Book.” Pastor Randy decided to encourage the members of his congregation to read the Bible through this year. As he was working on this plan he thought he would challenge others in the community (and across the web)to do the same. The plan is laid out on a single sheet of paper and can easily be tucked in your Bible. The basic premise is that we as believers depend upon the Word of God for spiritual strength. As Jesus said to the Devil, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” Matthew 4:4.” In other words, we need to esteem heavenly bread (God’s word) more important that physical bread. If this was true of Christ, its more true for us. He challenges each of you to read through your bibles in 2007. As Alistair Begg (from Truth for Life) says, “Either reading the Bible will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from reading the Bible.” Those are the only two choices! Which one will be true for you??? ChurchLight As I am the current pastor of the Trinity Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Bridgewater, SD, a fair amount of the material I work to put online will be church and ministry related. Jump to this page to find out more information about Trinity OPC. NEW SERMONS ADDED WEEKLY!! GospelLight NEW TRACT ON WORSHIP!! On this page I will share some of the insights and burdens that God has placed upon my heart. I will share some of the sermons I've preached and tracts I've written. I will tell you what I believe and why I believe it. I will even tell you why I think you should believe it too. Hopefully, the Bible will be shown as the answer to every question and the solution to every problem. Jesus didn't leave us as orphans, He left us with His inspired Word. It is by definition profitable, that is beneficial for instruction, correction, and direction. I hope to show you what I believe and why. CAMP CURRICULA ADDED RECENTLY!! YouthLight On this page I hope to share some of the insights and curriculum I have developed over the last 15 years of ministry. I will share some of the classes I have taught and the courses of study I have put together. I think it's important to understand how young people think and what things matter most to them. You can find out if I'm on the right tract. OutdoorLight This part might seem peculiar to some, but this touches upon some of the recreational aspects of our lives. For instance, I have a fascination with wild birds. I have an established colony of Purple Martins, a Bluebird trail of more than 50 houses and an interest in birdwatching and their annual migrations. In addition, my wife and I are avid gardeners. I hope to pass along some of the successes and failures we've had with gardening in SE South Dakota. No outdoor site would be complete with out speaking of the many seasonal sporting activities. We enjoy hunting, fishing, bicycling and hiking. This website was created to introduce interested parties to the ministries of Pastor Randall Klynsma and congregation which he currently pastors, the Trinity Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Bridgewater, SD. We intend to upload the Sunday Sermons each week. One of the Bible's core teachings is that "faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God" (Romans 10:17). "Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" Matthew 4:12?) |
